Pixel Dungeon Set - What's next??


Hey everyone!

Just wanted to give you a quick behind-the-scenes look at what I’ve been working on for the next update of Dungeon Set: Tiny Terrors — my growing pixel art asset pack designed for solo devs, game jams, and anyone building gritty, low-res dungeon worlds.


Introducing the first enemy - Skull

This update marks a big step forward — enemies are finally coming to the pack!

I’ve been diving deep into Unity and setting up my first enemy prototype — a top-down pixel enemy that patrols, detects the player, and transitions into attack mode. I’ve built all the core animations including idle, walk, attack transitions, and death — complete with directional support for left and right.

This enemy is fully animation-ready with a built-out Animator setup and blend trees. It moves on its own, switches to attack when the player enters its range, and even plays a clean death animation triggered with a simple input.


THE SET IS COMPLETELY COMPATIBLE WITH GODOT AND UNITY



So what's coming in the next updates?

  • Polish-focused animations (transitions, death frames, idle details etc.)
  • More dungeon enemies with animations
  • More character animations

and how about... magic effects & spellcasting ??
